NOAH'S ARK

First time Noah's Ark was seen 1948. In the middle of May when state of Israel was founded, an earthquake happened in Ararat mountains of Turkey. The earthquake partly uncovered a big ship-liked object. Reporter Edwin Greenwald wrote 13.11.1948 about the occurrence in a Turkish newspaper where he told that a shepherd called Reshit alias Ali Oglu Resit Sarihan had seen a big ship on Mahser mountain of the Ararats.

Next time Noah's Ark was seen 1959 in a photo taken by Sevket Kurtis, a pilot of Turkish Airforce, during a mapping fly above Ararat. Normal stereoscopic treatment of the photos brought to front from it's environment clearly formed " a big ship-liked object". Immediately the finding was widely noticed and a Turkish Captain Ilhan Durupinar who studied the photos, made an announcement to his foreman. Report of the finding of "a big ship-liked object" was reported in newspapers world widely.

In 1970- and 1980-decades American scientists Ron Wyatt and David Fasold interested to explore more closely this site that had been known as location of Noah's Ark. 1977 Wyatt went with his two son alone to the site of finding place of the Noah's Ark and two years later he made second tour to that place. Wyatt used metal finder and showed that the iron parts used in structural connections of Noah's Ark form on ground curved lines of signals. He also found from the site big stones used as shift anchors of Noah's Ark.

Fasold's achievement in investigating correctness of the finding of Noah's Ark is that he met shepherd Reshit, the eye-witness of the uncoverage of Noah's Ark. He heard about shepherd Reshit in village of Kargaconmaz, east from Noah's Ark, and found 60 years old pensioner Reshit 1986 from Dogubeyazit, a town near finding place of Noah's Ark. He interviewed Reshit about an hour. Reshit, who was 22 years old when the Noah's Ark uncovered, remembered what happened that day very well. He witnessed that it happened in midst of May 1948 and told, that when the earthquake happened he had been near with his flock of sheep. The earthquake had been, as Reshit told, "quite extraordinary, quite strong and lasted quite long" and it uncovered "special" view, a big ship-liked object. Year 1978 at the same place there happened new earthquake that a bit destroyed the Noah's Ark that protrudes about 4 to 6 meters above it's environment.

Government of Turkey had given to the team of Fasold and Wyatt a license to examine to Noah's Ark by non destructive methods only. That's why very important role, in examining of the Noah's Ark and especially it's inner parts, played the sophisticated device, so called NR-radar, that Fasold implemented. By this device it was possible to examine more accurately than earlier the inside of the Noah's Ark, to locate the places of the transverse and longitudinal bulkheads and to found it's nine separate divisions.

Fasold and Wyatt started at year 1985 together solve the questions in the examination of the Noah's Ark. They were able to show that the finding at the Mahser-mountain very probably is the true and authentic Noah's Ark.
