Scope is a program that visualizes any music you can play on your
computer! Use your favourite music player and enjoy accurate visualization!

You need only to change your microphone settings from volume control,
after that, you are all set and ready to go!
Alternatively, you can drag & drop files to Scope icon, and it will start
playing them sequentially, visualizing everything at the same time.

Instructions
Linux binary included, make sure you have SDL, portaudio and mpg123 libraries
in your system. Windows versions of these libraries are bundled in this
packet.

Works similarly to my program, by reading input device. Released under
GNU GPL v2.
To play mp3 files, just drag & drop the files to scope.exe. If you want to
listen to many mp3 files, select them all and drag & drop one of them
while all of them are selected. Then, Scope starts to play them one
after one.
Locate Volume Control from system tray:
If you did not find Volume Control from system tray,
you can alternatively press Win + R and then type sndvol32
to Run window.
Double-click on Volume Control to bring it up:
Next, click on Options and from the drop-down menu click Properties:
Then, click on Recording radio-button. Click through the menu to show all
volume controls for recording.
Now, click OK. This should bring you volume controls of recording devices
of your sound card:
You can try out and select any of the recording devices to see what Scope
will visualize. However, if you want to see sound that you can hear from
speakers / headphones, select Wave Out Mix or Stereo Mix or any device that
has word Mix in it's name.
Remember also to set the recording volume.

options for this program you can get by typing scope.exe -h.
